What is microsuction ear wax removal?
Microsuction is a method of removing ear wax using gentle suction under direct vision. Unlike traditional ear syringing, it doesn't use water to flush the ear canal, allowing wax to be removed in a controlled and precise way.
It can be suitable for many adults, including hearing aid users and people who experience recurring ear wax build-up. Before any treatment, we carry out an ear health assessment to check whether microsuction is appropriate for you.
Compassionate, Person-Centred Ear Care
We understand that ear care appointments can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly for people with sensory sensitivities, dementia or anxiety around treatment.
Our practitioners have completed Autism Awareness and Dementia-Friendly training, supporting a calm, individual approach to each person's care.
We take time to explain each step, offer reassurance and work at a comfortable pace, helping make appointments in familiar surroundings as relaxed and dignified as possible.
