Ear Care Dorset began with a friendship that grew both personally and professionally over many years.

Our families’ story started in Poole, when our wives first met at the maternity hospital—an unexpected connection that quickly turned into a lasting friendship. Not long after, we met and built a friendship of our own, one that has continued to grow alongside our families. Our children have grown up together, we’ve shared holidays, milestones, and a strong sense of community ever since.

Professionally, our paths also came together. After working in different organisations, we began working alongside each other in 2011 within health and social care. Over the years, we’ve delivered community education, workshops, and training across the BCP area, including smoking cessation, risk management, and adverse childhood experiences. We have trained together in areas such as auricular acupuncture (NADA protocol) and safeguarding, and both progressed into leadership roles, managing teams and supporting services within clinical and community settings.

Throughout our careers, we’ve remained committed to supporting people and strengthening the communities we serve, including involvement in charitable work and wider community initiatives.

Ear Care Dorset is a natural extension of that shared journey—bringing together our experience, values, and passion for helping people. It reflects not just our professional backgrounds, but the trust, friendship, and community spirit that has developed over many years.
