Our Story
Ear Care Dorset began with a friendship spanning more than 20 years, bringing together two families, shared professional experience and a genuine passion for helping people.
Our families first met at a maternity hospital in Poole, where an unexpected connection developed into a lasting friendship. Since then, our children have grown up together, and we've shared holidays, milestones and many years of friendship.
Our professional paths came together in 2011, when we began working alongside one another in health and social care. Over the years, we've gained experience in community education, supporting people with complex needs, safeguarding and managing services within clinical and community settings.
Alongside our professional work, we've remained involved in charitable and community initiatives, reflecting our shared commitment to helping others.
Ear Care Dorset is a natural continuation of that journey. We've brought together our experience, friendship and shared values to provide professional, compassionate ear care in the comfort of people's own homes.

I'm Ryan, co-founder of Ear Care Dorset. I take pride in delivering professional, compassionate ear care at home, making the process convenient and comfortable while helping you enjoy clearer hearing.
Our Experience & Commitment to Care
At Ear Care Dorset, we combine years of experience in health and social care with specialist training in ear health assessment and microsuction ear wax removal.
Our practitioners are qualified and insured, with additional Autism Awareness and Dementia-Friendly training. We understand that every person has different needs, and we take a calm, patient-centred approach to every appointment.
We believe professional ear care should be safe, respectful and fully explained. That's why every appointment begins with an ear health assessment, and we only recommend wax removal where it is appropriate.
We're also members of the British Society of Audiology and British Academy of Audiology, reflecting our commitment to professional standards and ongoing learning.
